Forgotten mothers
I love to be creative, to experiment, using different techniques or creating my own ones, without using a Photoshop.
I love photography and I am looking for a Beauty everywhere, even in the small, sometimes invisible for the others things!
I try to use photography to show the people the way in which I am seeing the world. Not just the visual of the scene in front of me, but also my feelings and emotions.

entry description
Visiting a small village in Bulgaria, I saw an old, thoughtful woman, sitting on a little wooden bench in front her house. I stopped to say “Hello “. Happy to talk to someone, she invited me inside, for a cup of herbal tea. She showed her ethnic rugs, tapestries, tablecloths, all that was her dowry- handmade and handwoven in her youth by her. In the bedroom, her cat and her favorite doll (almost her age),which was decorating the bed ( a rural Balkan countries tradition), keep her the only company. A widow, she lives alone and .. forgotten. Her three children left the family’s “nest” years ago, choosing the big city, other lands and busy lives.. without her! Shut away like a doll no one plays with anymore .. She doesn’t blame them and she said that they now have their own families, they are busy and they visit her very, very rarely. I asked why she doesn’t join them, but she said she is enough strong to take care of herself and that she doesn’t want to leave her native place, her land, where are the graves of all her relatives . She doesn’t want to brake away from her roots! A strong woman. Posting this photo today, I was thinking about the current,Covid- situation worldwide and with a heavy heart I only can imagine how many lonely elderly people there are in the world, in forced quarantine and separated from their loved ones. I hope that this is over soon and I dream of a better world, a world with more kindness , compassion and care for others, with more respect for the family values, with more sympathy and love not only for your loved ones but for all the humanity.about the photographer
I am coming from an artsy family of painters, sculptors and composers. I love to paint too, but last few years I prefer to use my photo camera as a brush and canvas!I love to be creative, to experiment, using different techniques or creating my own ones, without using a Photoshop.
