The Verzasca dam, Lugano Switzerland, is 220 metres high and 380 metres in length. It was built between 1960 and 1965. The reservoir feeds a three-turbine hydroelectric power station, which generates 220 GWh of energy a year. The site became famous as it was used for the opening jump scene in the James Bond movie “GoldenEye” (1995). Today is home to one of the world’s highest bungee jumping fixed installations. From afar it looks like every other mega structure. But from closer and in various angles, someone can witness very interesting shapes and patterns.about the photographer
