When I captured this photo from the Jackson Lake Lodge, it looked like the Earth and the sky were in a massive battle, Grant Teton pushing skyward and the lightning striking down from above. The scene had even more gravity knowing that the week before, similar storms had dumped massive amounts of rain on Yellowstone and closed the park for the first time in decades.back to gallery
