One of the most impressive experiences in the last years: a milky way observation on top of a small mountain near Passo Falzarego in the Dolomites. Starting the ascent with the last light of the day, I arrived at the top around midnight. Although in summer, temperatures were rather low, but the view was magnificient. So many stars, such a beautiful view on the milky way and even the surrounding mountains were clearly visible - only due to the light of the stars. Fortunately, I was also able to capture one of the rare occassions a car crossing the pass at this time of the day.back to gallery
