title
Yellow
The space in between the bodies contains their emotional flow from one to the other. They rely upon, lean on, repel, gaze, caress...the tension is left alone in an empty space. The air is only filled with their breath and temperature.
Yellow, is the colour that amplifies the warmth. vitality and will.
In the three years in New York City, She worked for big and small architecture firms and spent the rest of her time in her painting studio. Wong would take contemporary dance classes and collaborate with other artists from other fields. This is when She started to explore photography as a means of expression. The subject of her photography is mostly based on the theme of human bodies: what message does the body carry? and under what circumstances?
Wong’s interdisciplinary works are toned by her strong architectural background. The breadth of the works includes architectural design, painting & drawing, installation, performance, digital & hand-cut collage, and photography. Her kaleidoscopic aesthetic reveals her passion for dance and architecture, subjects that express through movement, body and time.

entry description
This series focuses on the body in its purest form with infinite tenderness. The bodies are placed in an art gallery, meant to be regarded as artwork. The pedestal from the Qing dynasty has not changed its form, supporting the weight of the living beings. The antique and the contemporary coexist, raw and undisguised. The space in between the bodies contains their emotional flow from one to the other. They rely upon, lean on, repel, gaze, caress...the tension is left alone in an empty space. The air is only filled with their breath and temperature.
Yellow, is the colour that amplifies the warmth. vitality and will.
