This was a snowstorm that hit NYC January 29th, 2022. I originally set out to take photos with my digital camera in Central Park. The normal 15 min ride from queens ended up taking about an hour to get there. I could hear the winds howling from the 5th av subway station so I decided to get my camera out before emerging out into the storm. Turns out my battery was dead. Luckily I had randomly placed my 35mm in my bag which was loaded with Kodak Tri-X 400, I pulled out my AE-1 and off I went. I wanted to capture movement in a NYC Blizzard.about the photographer
An amateur photographer from Texas and now living in NYC. I grew up obsessed with disposable cameras and video cameras. Telling stories was always a fun and unique thing I did as told by my family. I tend to want to capture moments rather than poses. I also enjoy playing with lines and unique scenes. I’m mostly fueled by what I’m feeling at the moment and my photography gives a glimpse of my self at the moment in time.back to gallery
