The Concept in Portrait Manipulations
The ones with no faces illustrate how the modern society opposes the faces of the people. With social media, no one cares how your face actually looks, just how well you are at editing your photos to gain more likes. Sometimes even putting on makeup to look better. Even our phones work with our faces, and when Face-ID doesn't work, you feel faceless.
The dual face with a mask photograph demonstrates the problems COVID-19 caused our world. So many problems emerged from this awful pandemic.
Finally, the dual face with the bandana symbolizes dualism in people. Many have this other self that sometimes lives in the same body as them. When our public self closes our eyes, the private self comes out. However, like the image depicts, sometimes it is difficult to balance the private and public life, and many 'kill' their private self just to satisfy the outside world.
