Pitbulls also eat eggs
During the long lockdowns, not being able to move from home, I portrayed moments of my friend Paola's daily life.
The marriage and the desire to go to live in the countryside led her, years ago, to move from Liguria, the seaside place where she was born, to a region where the winter fog is a constant.
Paola is suffering from an immunosuppressive disease, so since the beginning of the pandemic the fear of contagion materialized for her. Her illness forces her to reduce contact with other people as much as possible, so much so that her family members also represent a potential danger for her. However, thanks to her choice of life, today she lives "protected" in a sort of oasis of isolation represented by the fence of her house, raising poultry and cultivating products of the earth.
Thanks to her training in music, she has experienced art since she was a child both as a protagonist and as a user.
She started taking photographs at a slightly advanced age thanks to her husband who is passionate about photography.
In her photographic growth path, for some years she has dedicated herself to the reportage genre to lately approach a more evocative style, seeking the development of a story that can be investigated.
Always in search of her own identity as a photographer, she has some documentary reportage projects to her credit.

entry description
In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic began to spread to Europe from Lombardy, in northern Italy. Soon after, Emilia Romagna, the region where I live, was also hit hard due to its high population density and industrial settlements.During the long lockdowns, not being able to move from home, I portrayed moments of my friend Paola's daily life.
