Almsgiving or ตักบาตร(Tak Bat) is an ancient morning ritual where Buddhist monk from nearby temples walk through the town streets around 5:30-6:00AM to collect food offering from residents and visitors, bless them and later return to their temple.about the photographer
Enrico was born in Rome, Italy. After completing high school he went on pursuing his undergraduate studies in Toronto, Canada majoring in Commerce and East Asian studies. There he would take the opportunity to go on several student exchange opportunities in East Asia and develop his affection for the region. Once graduated, he moved to Hong Kong to work in consulting and finance technology roles. During his 6 years in the city he would nurture his passion for street photography, while travelling across Southeast Asia. Currently he is based in Bangkok.back to gallery
