This image captures the feeling of the forests at one of the oldest and largest tiger reserve of India- Melghat Tiger Reserve. In the frame is a Sambar Deer is the main prey of the tiger. During winters they are in rut and are found solitary near water bodies. The early morning hours with scattered sunrays through the canopy against the backwaters of the river provides ultimate experience watching a rutting Sambar Deer.about the photographer
