Santiago Cornejo ecuador
title
Pietà
If we destroy our only home, we destroy ourselves, and we destroy everything.
“It’s time to say enough. Enough of brutalizing biodiversity. Enough of killing ourselves with carbon. Enough of treating nature like a toilet. Enough of burning and drilling and mining our way deeper. We are digging our own graves.“
“Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary General” - Speech at COP26 on Glasgow, United Kingdom, 1 NOVEMBER 2021
In 2010, he returned to study in Madrid (Spain) to complete a Masters in Fashion Photography and Advertising. Upon his return to Ecuador in 2012, he created his own photo studio based in Quito, known as Boxum Photo Studio. His career has continued its ascent, through collaborations with numerous brands such as Renault, Diners, Visa, PepsiCo, and many prestigious advertising agencies.
In 2017, his love of images extended to film and video production. Thirsty for knowledge, he travelled to Barcelona (Spain) to complete a second Masters, this time in Cinematography. Today he works with agencies and clients as a photographer and videographer and devotes his free time to his personal portfolio.
