entry description
A grey whale blowing a rainbow near a boat in Magdalena Bay, Baja California Sur. Gray whales make one of the longest annual migrations of any mammal, traveling about 12,000 miles round-trip from Alaska to Mexico. Gray whales move south each fall to mate and give birth in lagoons of Baja and then they migrate back north starting at the beginning of February and continuing through April.about the photographer
Andrea Izzotti is an italian photographer born in 1968. Passioned of travels and nature he has visited some among the most remote places of the planet, always searching "fragments of reality" to capture. Its photo is, therefore, often the result of sudden intuition. "The nature is the best and the humblest artist, it’s up to us to try to pick up the endless differences of its proposals."back to gallery
