A grey whale blowing a rainbow near a boat in Magdalena Bay, Baja California Sur. Gray whales make one of the longest annual migrations of any mammal, traveling about 12,000 miles round-trip from Alaska to Mexico. Gray whales move south each fall to mate and give birth in lagoons of Baja and then they migrate back north starting at the beginning of February and continuing through April.about the photographer
Andrea Izzotti is a freelancer and photographer. Emotion hunter, he is passionate about travel and nature and has visited some of the most remote places on the planet. His photographs have been published in books and magazines and he has exhibited in Italy and abroad. He has published many photographic and popular books.
