(dis)connection
When I examine the space around me, I discover the small details. When I allow myself to disappear into daydreaming, the essence of an image rises. I believe imagination and reality are combined, and the relationship between the two of them completes the picture.
This project explores the relationship a person has with themselves. Whatever happens in the private space is an effect of observation, of the inner self. A variety of moments of contemplation are shown in the photographs as the daily routine creeps into awareness. Sometimes seemingly insignificant moments can seem unimportant, but these moments hold several meanings. They are the pieces that show the form of one as a whole.
As photography captures the visible, it can imply the invisible, and as a result, it's helping me learn myself better. When I photograph the familiar, I feel like I see it for the first time as something escaped from my sight and returned differently.
Gal sees photography as a means of creating a wordless story. Capturing the moment by the camera and telling something hidden and mysterious. She draws her inspiration from the literature.
Photography like literature can tell and captivate the viewer with a plot and moments from life. In her photographs, she takes care to preserve a colorful and clean aesthetic combined with symmetry in the composition. Her goal is to create a balance in the photography that still will be an interesting story for the viewer when a hidden moment is revealed to his eyes.

entry description
A breeze of wind has arrived and swept me away along with my thoughts. I looked down and saw that my bare feet were standing on the cold floor. The faucet kept dripping, and I couldn't remember what I intended to do. Sometimes, I wonder about the space I live in. It has many shapes and intangible shadows that create lines and mysteries. Silence surrounds it, sometimes with color or a ray of light. The walls are furnished with objects scattered around the room, like lamps and cabinets. I look around the room, and an image starts to unfold inside my head. When I examine the space around me, I discover the small details.
