The lava from the Pacaya volcano threatened the homes of residents of San Vicente Pacaya for weeks, in a seven-week Via Crucis they prayed to the volcano to stop the lava emanation, with wooden crosses they walked almost to the crater. A woman holds a wooden cross and prays in front of the Pacaya volcano, praying that the lava stops and does not reach her home, on May 5, 2021 in San Vicente Pacaya.
