There's a certain magic to standing in the middle of the purple/pinkish glow created by sunlight bouncing off tiny particles in the air. The belt of venus, as it it's called, is particularly magical when everything else works, too - clear skies, winter time and a beautiful landscape in the mountains like this one. When the temperature change caused blankets of fog to drag along the meadows, I was in heaven. The long exposure created a dreamy look that intensifies the moment.about the photographer
