Split The Atom
This textured ice in the foreground enhances great dimension and perspective into the frame. It is going from front to back, but also from surface to depth under the ice. We become curious, as we are tempted to have a look at what's hiding under these fragments of thin crystal.
I grew up in a small town between Lyon and Switzerland, and left France in may 2011 to explore the world, and discover my passions for the great outdoors and photography.
I discovered completely diverse environments which helped me working on my photo compositions & technics , and becoming a full time outdoor guide in April 2016.
Patience and creativity is all you need.
I believe in self teaching. This huge passion pushes him everyday and night to improve and became now part of my everyday life.
The photos I capture in my portfolio are the result of thousands of hours spent outside under snowstorm, strong winds, heavy heat, freezing cold temperatures, long drives, great hikes, early mornings, late evenings, and tremendous amount of time spent waiting and facing nature without knowing what will come.
That's what keeps him in love with Landscape and Night Photography;
The No Control aspect of it.

entry description
The river beds become frozen under the cold temperatures of Northern Norway. This offers amazing opportunities to find textures of ice as thin as glass. I use these natural shapes to lead the eye from the bubbly detailed foreground, traveling through the cracks, up to the dancing green sky hugging the mountain.This textured ice in the foreground enhances great dimension and perspective into the frame. It is going from front to back, but also from surface to depth under the ice. We become curious, as we are tempted to have a look at what's hiding under these fragments of thin crystal.
