This is the fabulous Antares and Rho Ophiuchi region that leads the core of the Milky Way across the night sky. Over 100 captures, from three sets of images (the sky from both a regular camera and an astro moded camera during the night; and the landscape during astro twilight) were combined to make the final image. It might be also noted that this is the true alignment of the star complex when it rose behind Mt. Shasta that night.about the photographer
