How we see structures and Buildings in Use ? , These images combine the activity with the architecture , reflecting the relationship between human and space , between architecture and light , highlighting how lines , shapes and textures can be part of the global memory .
" Sense of the Place " is photographic journey documents Dubai Expo2020 buildings in Use , from an architectural point of view , as Am trying to show Expo’s occupied buildings and populated exteriors. Where each building has a specific purpose and creates areas of activity.
This World Fair will be remembered for its architectural richness .. in this journey am exploring some of the most exciting country pavilions marked by unique and stellar architecture representing each nation’s legacy and vision of the future.
Am highlighting the buildings and spaces in their wider context and environment to Illustrate if the building blends or jars with its surroundings.
Since beginning his journey as a self-taught photographer in 2009, Yousif has participated in numerous exhibitions locally, regionally, and internationally, earning recognition and multiple awards for his work. His artistic practice expanded further in 2017/18 when he joined the Filmmaking & Cinematography Program at Sharjah Art Foundation, deepening his storytelling approach.

Yousif Albadi is a documentary photographer based in Abu Dhabi, celebrated for his ability to tell profound visual stories. Rooted in his passion for Architectural / street-life photography, Yousif’s work extends across various mediums and approaches, allowing him to capture the richness of human experience and the interplay of light, shadow, and emotion.As a contemporary photographer, Yousif is constantly exploring new techniques and creative advancements to reimagine traditional subjects.
