The portrait was taken near Cherbourg, France, known to have a very strong tide and currents.
By the end of the night and with low visibility, increasingly bigger waves started rocking the vessel by the stern.
The ship started surfing each wave from one side to another and the autopilot struggled to keep a safe and steady course.
If conditions had become harsher, the vessel risked to be knocked over.
A crucial moment that demanded to switch to manual control and take the situation in hand.
Carefully looking over the vessel and steering safely through every wave.
Waiting for the sun to come up to ease the sea down.
