This photo features 27-years old, Arabian mare "Pauline". Due to weather conditions, we had to postpone our shoot many times. At one point, the owner started to get scared that Pauline might die before our shoot since she has several illnesses, unfortunately. But we got lucky, Pauline made it and I was so impressed by her appearance. You wouldn't think that she's so old and sick already. Even when we started to use smoke, she wasn't scared of it for a second but started to pose like a pro in front of it. A really special horse!about the photographer
I'm a full-time photographer living near Vienna, in beautiful Austria. My work mainly focuses on horses and the art of capturing them with or without their owners in various, creative ways. I love playing with light and shadow and since I shoot outdoors most of the time, there's always an element of surprise in my work, which I love. What colors am I getting today? What shapes?
