I have tested many artistic fields throughout my life but a few years ago photography became obvious to me, it was photography that allowed the widest range to express my creativity. Because the photo itself is only the culmination of a long preparatory work during which I imagine and I make all the accessories that my models wear (headdress and often also outfit). Likewise, I really like to make up my models or more exactly paint them... like on a canvas. This is followed by the work of retouching the photos obtained so that the result transports the observer to a world populated by Amazons, deities, characters straight out of my imagination.
I think Man can only find freedom in his mind, freedom in the real world is just an illusion (from the moment we are subject to the limits of a physical body we are not free , not to mention the limits that any life in society necessarily imposes. Imprisonment can be caused by the gaze of others, of our loved ones. The need to correspond to the image that society and education impose on us is a straitjacket from which it is difficult to free oneself. I realized that this magical world that I had created with the photo, unconsciously made me free. Imagination is unique to man and its power is powerful. I am someone one of optimist and dreamer and the world that I create in my photos is my freedom and that of the viewer as well.A projection of what I myself wish to become, someone strong and determined who takes his future in hand.
For each of the photos in this series I created the model's headdress and make-up. The headdress is made from various recycled materials: offcuts of electric cables, shells, skewers, pieces of old clothes, etc.
