Savannah Storm
I was very lucky to be in a magnificent unique natural setting of dramatic clouds, twinkling stars, sterdy giraffes and an incredible lightning. This shot captures a slight moment of lightning that had halted giraffes’ movement, and surprisingly they stood in a similar position. The storm did not seem to affect their calm behavior. These powerful moments reminded me of Noah's Ark - pairs of animals looking towards the world’s future. The picture evokes an interesting and dramatic living environment in winter atmosphere.

entry description
It was one of the most spectacular lightning storms I have ever seen. Photographing nature in the rain is a fascinating experience, but capturing a storm in the savannah is completely different.I was very lucky to be in a magnificent unique natural setting of dramatic clouds, twinkling stars, sterdy giraffes and an incredible lightning. This shot captures a slight moment of lightning that had halted giraffes’ movement, and surprisingly they stood in a similar position. The storm did not seem to affect their calm behavior.
