Denali Lenticular Stacks
Denali is the highest point in North America sitting at an elevation of 20,310ft and is one of the seven summits. These images were taken on my first Alaskan expedition, early Spring of 2023, where temperatures often dip below -20ºF ambient necessitating next-to-body heating of camera batteries in order to get them to operate. Two weeks of solace exploring new ski lines and peaks in one of the most beautiful areas in the entire world was kicked off by night one, where these spectacular lenticular clouds showed themselves for all who could see to enjoy.
