Soul memories
Do they receive the flowers we bring on special occasions? Melancholic shadows of Trent Parke, living in the forest of Dante's Divine Comedy, the territory where myths and legends have been born since primitive times. The frozen sun, the ringing of cicadas and the sound of the wind, a state of light sadness in the soul.
The pink color conveys tenderness, a feeling of possible rebirth, oozing smoke, in the clouds of which a familiar, long-forgotten silhouette will flash... flowers seem to be surrounded by ectoplasm, the very matter and space there are different... a still life from another world. I want the viewer, with light sadness and slight anxiety, to think about the future that awaits us all, to think about the time when stories forever freeze only in our memory, because their main storytellers, our close people, leave, whether we want it or not. No.
I hope to continue the series of works at an exhibition in the gallery, a personal deep topic.
I study contemporary art and I’m sure I have something new to say to the world. My work is dominated by invisible anxiety, which I comprehend and sublimate. I will devote the next 10 years to a wide range of contemporary art practices, exploring social themes and various media. For now, however, let me start with a photograph.
Thank you
