For several years now, I am working on a series of winter micro landscapes which I call Winter Maps, so these five images are just a small selection of a whole body of coherent work. No tricks involved, every photo is just a single exposure. These five photos are taken in Iceland, in Germany in my hometown of Wuppertal, in Argentina and in Sweden.about the photographer
Born and raised in Berlin. Studied law in Berlin, timpani and percussion in Essen, Copenhagen and Duesseldorf. Professional timpanist and percussionist, permanent member of the Wuppertal Symphony. Took up photography in 2007 while on tour with the orchestra, hooked ever since. Main photographic subjects include people, nude, architecture and landscape photography.
