Is it possible, within the framework of contemporary art, using the collage technique, to explore the contemporary theme of violence and sexual aggression to which women of a certain, stereotypical model appearance are subjected?
If the works cause fear for the heroines, this is a good sign of the viewer’s empathy. But there will probably be those who will find pleasure and excitement in such expression.
As an author, I want to hold up a mirror of reality to the viewer, making them more aware of their feelings.
I study contemporary art and I’m sure I have something new to say to the world. My work is dominated by invisible anxiety, which I comprehend and sublimate. I will devote the next 10 years to a wide range of contemporary art practices, exploring social themes and various media. For now, however, let me start with a photograph.
