I thought "I'll take some pictures in case Argentina wins". Said and done. The population went crazy with the victory. There were shouts, horns, people running and jumping with the country's flag in their hands. Everyone walked towards the Obelisk for a great celebration. It was challenging to take these pictures. It was very hot, many people together and there were some foam sprays that fell on my camera.
I identified the most diverse emotions and reaction and took the pictures. I took several, but I didn't even have time to check them because there was so much information everywhere. From all of them, I chose for the contest the most genuine ones that could transmit that moment among the people. December 18, 2022, the day Argentina was the World Champion, is registered in my photographs.

This work came about spontaneously. I am Brazilian and I was living in Buenos Aires, studying photography and doing women's photoshoots, which is what I am used to. The 2022 World Cup was on, the Brazilian team had already been disqualified, and the portenhos were very excited about Argentina in the final.I thought "I'll take some pictures in case Argentina wins".
