Stronger Together
We hear the constant wining of animals and the adults calling for their chicks. We feel the wind transporting the moulting feathers of the birds. The smell in the air is really unique to this place, mostly characterised by the sweet smell of musk coming from the fur seals.
The space is filled and dense out here. It is impressive to just spend time staring at one bird and try analysing what he is doing, minding his own little life within this immense crowd. It reminded me a lot of us, humans, and the way they are living our own life. We walk head facing down, with earphones on, walking through the crowd of a giant megalopolis.
It is hard to comprehend how huge is this gathering of animals. South Georgia made me feel like we are nothing. I stood there mouth open, breath taken, tearing eyes, hard to believe i am watching these lives just few meters in front of me.
From meat eaters fearless birds to innocent seal pups, each of these creature has a life based on food and care. So many fight for their survival, for the survival of their youngs in some of the harshest environment on the planet.
Some lives are taken away, but it also means that food is collected to feed the young of the upper part on the food chain. The death of one feed the young of the other.
In such environment, we are stronger together.

I grew up in a small town between Lyon and Switzerland, and left France in may 2011 to explore the world, and discover my passions for the great outdoors and photography.
I discovered completely diverse environments which helped me working on my photo compositions & technics , and becoming a full time outdoor guide in April 2016.
Patience and creativity is all you need.
I believe in self teaching. This huge passion pushes him everyday and night to improve and became now part of my everyday life.
The photos I capture in my portfolio are the result of thousands of hours spent outside under snowstorm, strong winds, heavy heat, freezing cold temperatures, long drives, great hikes, early mornings, late evenings, and tremendous amount of time spent waiting and facing nature without knowing what will come.
That's what keeps him in love with Landscape and Night Photography;
The No Control aspect of it.

The Sub-Antarctic islands and Antarctica make you understand the meaning of life. I am facing the biggest sea birds and marine mammals concentration on the planet. It is a loud, wet and foggy environment.We hear the constant wining of animals and the adults calling for their chicks. We feel the wind transporting the moulting feathers of the birds. The smell in the air is really unique to this place, mostly characterised by the sweet smell of musk coming from the fur seals.
