Stairway to Heaven, Study No. 2

New concrete staircase in a refurbished old city slaughterhouse. I was immediately enthralled by the light, tones and simple lines as I first entered the space. Old restored parts of the building are in original red brick, whereas the newly erected parts are in light grey smooth concrete to clearly show which parts were saved. The building now serves as city modern art gallery.about the photographer
I am a big admirer of the world around us. I shoot mostly landscape and cityscape on medium format analog camera. My photographs are square and in black&white. I am true amateur, shooting with passion what and when I decide to. This gives me enough freedom to focus on my projects. But it is a form of meditation, relaxation, self-realization through a creative medium = shooting, developing and finaly enlarging my photos in darkroom to achieve my vision.back to gallery
