Tales Of A Lost Mind
Learning how to use it was a therapy. I could still feel his presence, his smell.
I took it with me on my trips, where I knew I would feel particularly lonely, spending unwanted nights in random hotels throughout Europe, as an airline pilot.
I simply wanted to catch and document these moments, to remember how it felt.

After the sudden death of my beloved father, I felt the urge to stay in touch with him. He had left me a Rolleiflex, a camera I had never used before, but seen for so many years in our living room.Learning how to use it was a therapy. I could still feel his presence, his smell.

about the photographer
Born in Brazil, I grew up between Rio de Janeiro and Paris, France. I spend much time alone, around the world. Unknowingly influenced by Stephen Shore and Saul Leiter, amongst others, as an adult, deeply inspired by Nan Goldin as a teenager, I use photography as way to document my intimacy through the outer landscapes that surround me.back to gallery
