Sand dune modernism
Wasteland, desert, emptiness - these are iconic words for Israel. Everything here arose from the void. City. Life. This cosmic beginning captures me. You and I can only be a desert fantasy.
It is in the modernist architecture of the city, which arose here in the 60-80s of the last century, that I find the very beginning, as if the city of Ashdod gives back to nature these sand dunes from which it grew.

Ashdod (Israel) was founded in 1956. A city that grew out of the sands. I show different fragments, corners of the city that sprouted in me resonated with my own reality.Wasteland, desert, emptiness - these are iconic words for Israel. In his projects the artist delves into places, objects and spaces within the context of history and sociocultural phenomena. His work is characterized by a personal approach that combines documentary and artistic practices.
