Beneath the surface of everyday life.about the photographer
Olga Brandonsio is an Italian self-taught photographer. Her first steps into photography occurred at a very young age, shooting with her father's analog camera. For Olga, photography is an act of necessary liberation. An untiring observer, she absorbs every frequency of the mundane: the background hum of life, fleeting expressions, and fragments of conversations stolen in hallways or overheard on the phone. These stimuli do not fade; instead, they settle and pool, crowding her mind with layers of imagery that press to be released. Through the initial shutter click and the subsequent alchemy of post-production, Olga empties her inner chaos to give shape to new worlds—distilling the frenzy of lived reality and the fever of her imagination into visions that are both tangible and serene.back to gallery
