The Pasqueflower
Every stage is already photogenic, from the development of the buds to the flowers and ultimately the transformation into the seed heads.
The aim of the series was to show the opening of the flower in its advancing stage.
The images were taken with a 105 macro lens and manual camera settings.
To accommodate the delicacy of the plant I used large apertures to get nice bokeh and blur.
I worked passionately as a landscape gardener for many years. This means working creatively with nature and paying attention to the little things, as these can sometimes have a negative impact on the end result. It's the same with photography.
I have always loved photography and it has become my passion. I'm always trying new things with my camera to see what I can do with it. Photography is art and art knows no boundaries!
You just have to have the courage to try something new.
