It was while observing these little flowers in my garden in the evening that I had the idea of creating this series. It's like a hymn to life, a sort of symbolisation of the vital energy that animates the living world. Isolated in a luminous halo, upright or bent over, the flowers seem to be putting all their energy into making the most of the day's light until the very last second.about the photographer
