Working on an expedition vessel in the Antarctic I often observe the conditions outside through the shell door of the ship. This is the exit from the ship but the entry into a surreal and magical world that lies before us. The first step to an adventure who's story is not yet defined.about the photographer
UK born, graduate in sciences, worked in many areas around the world as a naturalist, expeditioner, diver and explorer. Now working in Galapagos and Antarctica as a Marine Scientist and Expedition Leader.I study whale sharks in an attempt to better understand their natural history and reproductive behaviour with a view to creating management policy and Marine Protected Areas.
