This image was inspired by a traditional Buddhist mandala. I enjoy the discipline of laying out individual buds and petals to create a pleasing and perhaps meditative image. Shot flat laid on a light box with my lovely old Canon 60D and prime 50mm lens. I shot multiple exposures and blended them in PS. I love that I can continue to make fine art style photos with an old camera!about the photographer
