Celebration of the Holy Week before Easter in the city of Iglesias (in Sardinia, Italy), organized by the brotherhood of Santo Monte. The inhabitants of the city have been performing these rituals since the late 1600s, during the Spanish domination (the name of the city means "churches" in Spanish). During the celebration young people and children are dressed as "babollotti" with the white penitential dress of old disciplined men.about the photographer
