Ni tout à fait le ciel
Her beginnings were fueled by her life abroad in different countries.
The discovery of the magic of development in the darkroom in Paris in the 2000s led her to pursue her passion for black and white. She has produced several exhibitions and won the Ilford competition in 2001.
Life took her away from her photographic path for a few years. A void on paper, but the essence of her photos within it, waiting for a rebirth.
In 2020, following a depression, photography allowed her to rebuild herself. A rebirth. The renaissance comes through digital and color. The alternation between color and black and white is essential, like the yin and yang of her being. The photo then becomes a means of expressing one's pain and one's sensitivity. She adds words to it. Poetic sentences, like a counterpoint to the image. They are no longer landscapes, but visual and sensitive poetry. Revealers of her states of mind. The outlet for her buried suffering. A vision, a look, a very personal interpretation placed on a nature magnified to the height of what nature was able to provide as a remedy for its ills. Words for evils.
She revisits her old series which remain intact in terms of emotions and as present as ever. Like evidence, a revealer. A rebirth.
