Eternal Echoes: Light and Shadow of the Wind
Through a series of monochromatic diptychs, "Eternal Echoes" invites you to explore the enigmatic beauty of wind turbines against the backdrop of contrasting landscapes. Each diptych tells a tale of two worlds – one bathed in the soft glow of daylight, where sleek wind turbines stand as modern sentinels in pristine winter landscapes; the other veiled in the cloak of night, where these same structures silhouette against a moonlit backdrop, casting shadows that hint at the mysteries of the night.
But "Eternal Echoes" is more than just a visual journey; it's a narrative of diverging perceptions. For some, wind farms are a blight upon the landscape, a disruptive intrusion that mars the natural beauty of our surroundings. They see them as symbols of a misguided environmental movement, a utopian dream built upon unreliable promises.
Yet, for others, these towering structures represent hope and progress – elegant symbols of a future untethered from the shackles of fossil fuels. In their eyes, wind power plants are guardians of our planet, harbingers of a brighter, cleaner tomorrow where renewable energy reigns supreme, and humanity is freed from the burden of environmental exploitation.
"Eternal Echoes: Light and Shadow of the Wind" beckons you to contemplate these contrasting perspectives, to listen to the silent whispers carried on the breeze and ponder the role of wind power in shaping our collective future. Join us on this mesmerizing journey as we navigate the delicate balance between progress and preservation, guided by the whispers of the wind.
For the past ten years my clients have been architects, hotels and industrial corporations, but I also work on self assigned fine art photo series where I capture architecture from the ground or from the air.
There is a common thread through my work, in that I photograph everyday situations in a special way. Through the creative use of light, time and composition I create works of art, from my environment that inspire people.

about the photographer
My passion for photography reaches back to my 15th birthday where I got my first digital camera. From that moment on I experienced my life through a lens. The camera sparkles my curiosity and helps me discover and understand places, people and their relationships. Having an academic family background I followed my predetermined path of education as a business person, but my heart kept beating for photography until my now wife pushed me to start my freelance career as a full-time photographer. For the past ten years my clients have been architects, hotels and industrial corporations, but I also work on self assigned fine art photo series where I capture architecture from the ground or from the air.
