entry description
In Argentina, "taperas" are abandoned rural dwellings found in the vast plains of the Pampas. These simple adobe or brick structures once served as homes for agricultural workers but have since deteriorated due to changes in farming practices and rural-to-urban migration. Despite their decay, Taperas hold significant cultural and emotional value, representing the history and identity of rural Argentine life.about the photographer
Born in Argentina, he began photography in Architecture School and hasn't stopped since. He believes photography captures the convergence of cities, buildings, and people. His work spans diverse scales and types, from exteriors to interiors, documenting how architecture interacts with its surroundings and inhabitants. He revisits projects to show their aging and the evolution of their environment. Over time, he has focused on storytelling through photographic moments and portraits, using framing, composition, and lighting to create unique, memorable images.back to gallery
