title
Farbtöne
The series is an exploration into our relationship with nature. Each image poses questions on which to reflect and offers an invitation to the viewer to consider their own answers for themselves and on a bigger societal scale. What do we offer the world while we're in it? What to we leave behind as seeds to grow after we've gone? What are we truly made of - what is our core? Which of our actions take our breath away? And how can we expand our mind's grasp to grow beyond its current horizon?
A discussion on the answers might be overdue.
The over-arching theme of her work is the interaction between humans and nature. What began as surrealistic storytelling grew into a desire to explore the human self in relation to nature. This exploration has continued to raise questions, which she tries to give form to through her images. They are an attempt to envoke reconnection to the soul through stories and connectedness to nature.
