Gamlebrua (The Old Bridge) started construction in 1858 and was finished in 1862. It survived the bombing of Elverum during WWII after the Norwegian king gave his famous "no" to the Germans. To this day the bridge is in use and connects the west and east side of Elverum that is divided by Glomma, Norways largest river.about the photographer
