entry description
Bridge of the Dancing Cranes. Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge passes over Tsugaru Fujimi Lake and is Japan’s longest triple arch wooden bridge with a length of 300 meters. It was built using more than 700 Aomori Hiba using traditional techniques. The beauty of the bridge is not only in its elegant structure but also its shape which is reminiscent of a crane flying. It is said that walking over the bridge will give you a long life. In the winter, when the lake is frozen and covered in fresh snow the bridge appears to be flying.about the photographer
