title
he/his
The entire project will be published in a photo book with 49 photographs and includes different perspectives on men, some dressed, some completely naked, some more explicit with a view of the penis, some more layered or veiled. It is held together by a colorful adhesive of strength and empathy. The journey to the photos was just as important as the final results—the right setting was created for each man, and for some settings, the right man was sought out. Almost none of the men had ever stood in front of a camera before; there were no professional models, no prop assistants, and no makeup artists—just the photographer, her ideas, and the men.
Her final projects have been recognized with awards and exhibitions in the art scene.

entry description
The male photography project “he/his” is an attempt to take a look at today's social expectations of the male species and to take their handling of these expectations to an aesthetic extreme. The focus is on vulnerability, conformity, and the search for protection among all the options that our time has to offer. What do we want to see? What do men want to show of themselves? And what should remain hidden? The entire project will be published in a photo book with 49 photographs and includes different perspectives on men, some dressed, some completely naked, some more explicit with a view of the penis, some more layered or veiled. It is held together by a colorful adhesive of strength and empathy.
