"The Rhythm of Change" is a project that explores the regenerative and transformative power of nature, highlighting its remarkable ability to restore while offering hope amidst the ecological crisis. I investigate the symbolism behind cycles of growth and decay, juxtaposing the vitality and spontaneity of nature with the precision of geometrical shapes. These shapes carry symbolic meanings: circles represent the cycles of the natural world that repeat annually, while rectangles symbolize grounding qualities. Just as nature operates in cycles, so do humans, we can see it when we look at our lives from the perspective of time. These series serve as reflections on the universal cycles of life, death, and rebirth.about the photographer
Katatarzyna Zub is an artist working across photography and collage, with a focus on the philosophical potential of images, layered symbolism, and graphic form. She initially studied philosophy, obtaining an MA before redirecting her focus toward the visual arts. Her practice merges the intuitive language of photography with conceptual inquiry, investigating the physical and spiritual dimensions of reality.
