I walked out of the building, almost ready to give up.
Instead, I took a short break — and returned.

I spent four hours waiting for this photo. I had hoped to capture people caught in the spotlight patterns, but for the first two hours, the weather wouldn’t cooperate.I walked out of the building, almost ready to give up.

Zili Zhang is an internationally recognized photographer based in Greenwich, CT. Recently named Conceptual Photographer of the Year by Exposure One, he also received Gold from the 1839 Awards and ND Magazine.
