Project "MISHKA-FA'IM"
To Ethiopia I came prepared. I had a bag full of kid’s toys: Balloons, of course, stickers, soapy water for bubbles and 1 pair of huge golden glasses, which I randomly found in my street, one early morning while walking my dog Benji out.
Project “MISHKA-FA’IM” (Glasses in Hebrew) was born.
The rule is simple: Only kids or teenagers, Only fun and laughs.
Next stop was Cuba. Mmmmmmm…Cuba. There I went wild with the kids. Especially when they played ball games with the glasses. I feel it helped me bridge culture and language and connect in the most pure way possible.
Hoping to keep traveling around the world and expand this project.
We had SO MUCH fun…Enjoy it too

entry description
The first time I came across the idea of kid’s toys while traveling was last year, trekking the Annapurna. I met an Australian woman traveling by herself carrying balloons. I was captivated by this simple, genius idea. It gives you the possibility to engage so quickly with the kids and still not to ruin them with food or money. As a photographer it opens the door for an amazing interaction, and hopefully great shots To Ethiopia I came prepared.
