Inspired by an vision of paintings on old and vintage vases, in this series the backdrop is a simplified design from an antique vase along with the flowers and small props representing each country with a cat interacting in the theme.about the photographer
Born in Holland, I was drawing and painting animals at a very early age using my pets as models as well as other domestic animals. I came to the USA at the age of 12 and I graduated with a BA degree in studio art and then exhibited in many exhibits in California and I received numerous awards and was honored with signature memberships in two national art associations. Now in my retirement I have taken up the camera as my creative outlet and use my cats in a studio set up with various props and themes.back to gallery
