His work is an introspective investigation that transforms the landscape into a mental space. In his main projects, such as "Shoreline" and "Il Cerchio" (The Circle), Abbagnato uses natural and geometric elements to explore deep emotional states. If in Shoreline the shoreline becomes a threshold between the conscious and the unconscious, in the project Il Cerchio the perfect shape becomes a symbol of unity and universal connection, overcoming the fragmentation of reality.
His artistic career has received numerous international awards and recognitions and is enhanced by collaborations with prestigious exhibition venues, including Paratissima Art Gallery. Abbagnato does not document the world; he synthesizes it. His is a "photography of thought" that invites the viewer to silence, contemplation, and the search for a poetic order within everyday chaos
